Allan Storer MA. BA

" Nothing but Oil "

Abstract and Seascape

Allan focused seven years of study in the theory and practice of modern art as a post graduate of both Chelsea College of Art and Design, Kings College and graduate,  University of Wales.

He is a practising painter who loves oil paint expertly using squeegy and palette knives on large and small canvasses for interior designers and art galleries.

A member of the British Federation of British Artists;  has exhibited with both the Royal Institute of Oil Painters and the Hesketh Hubberd Drawing Society in the Mall Galleries , London;  Museums and public Art Galleries.

His work published in Art Magazines such as the Artist and Illustrator and printed on a classical CD cover sleeve is frequently  used for corporate logos and studied as the subject of student art dissertations.

Paintings can be found in the homes of celebrities;  private and public collections including UAE Royal Household, villas in the south of France,  Hollywood and executive developments in the UK and USA.  Allan is especially proud  that a  notable Royal Academician who admired his work, has chosen to hang  Allan's used painting palette in his working studio.  Considering the  Academicians's status in the world of art, "a great compliment".

This artist works in London, St. Ives and Gower Peninsular in studio or ein plein air settings painting thick impasto textures in nothing but oil paint.
